Telecom Infrastructure Solutions

Telecommunications, also known as telecom, is the exchange of information over significant distances by electronic means and refers to all types of voice, data and video transmission. ... A complete, single telecommunications circuit consists of two stations, each equipped with a transmitter and a receiver.

With the majority of the population living in urban areas and where there is scarcity of space, installation of ground based towers is a serious challenge, it will be needless, expensive & complicated to erect a green field structure. We have the advantage of using building height as tower. Rooftops fill the capacity gaps in your wireless network and provide you the much needed service. STPL meet the required height by rooftop pole / tower.
In-Building Solution (IBS) provides indoor coverage using a series of hubs/Equipment distributing the signal to number of antennas.
The system is fed by centralized service inputs from a base station (BTS) or repeater.
The IBS gives adequate strength and quality of wireless Signals, hence assures smooth wireless communication for PDAs, Lap-tops and mobile phones.
The following aspects are covered In In-Building Solutions:
  • Site Survey.
  • Site Planning.
  • Implementation.
  • Supply.
  • Coverage Testing.
A base transceiver station (BTS) is a piece of equipment that facilitates wireless communication between user equipment (UE) and a network. UEs are devices like mobile phones (handsets), WLL phones, computers with wireless Internet connectivity. The network can be that of any of the wireless communication technologies like GSM, CDMA, wireless local loop, Wi-Fi, or other wide area network(WAN) technology. BTS is also referred to as the radio base station (RBS), node B (in 3G Networks) or, simply, the base station (BS). For discussion of the LTE standard the abbreviation eNB for evolved node B is widely used.

An electrical cable is an assembly of one or more wires running side by side or bundled, which is used to carry electric current. The site survey is designed to provide a document listing telecommunications equipment and bandwidth available in the building. The data that is typically collected in the site survey includes all relevant information about the existing telecommunications infrastructure in and on the building. This includes:.

BTS Site Survey:-

BTS Site Survey, providing Site Survey detail report along with built drawings / Engineering Site Survey

  • To work out on Site Survey Planning.
  • Provide Detail Site Survey Report Strictly comply to Customer Requirement.
  • Documentation For Site, including Equipment Layout Drawing.
  • Documentation For Indoor & Outdoor Cable Routing.
  • Documentation For Quantities for Engineering Materials.
  • Ribbon Cable .
  • Direct-Buried Cable .
  • Twin-Lead Cable.
  • Twinaxial Cable.
  • Paired Cable .

RF Site srvey:-

Following the preliminary planning, the next step in implementing a communications system is to perform an on-site survey. The object of the microwave site survey is to develop the geographical and physical framework for the network such that the established communications requirements can be met satisfactorily. The elements of a comprehensive site survey include:
  • The identification and location of potential terminals and repeater sites through the use of geological maps.
  • The collection of site data for each potential location leading to a full description of each site.
  • The determination of the relative elevation of natural terrain and obstacles between interconnected sites through a topographical map study.
  • Conducting a field survey to corroborate the results of the map study, eliminating less than optimum site locations, and identifying potential problems, peculiar items (man-made obstacles) not evident from the map study.
  • The final selection of sites, together with the formulation of final site and path data.
Rigging of antenna systems and support infrastructure for various RF communication technologies.
Installation, commissioning and fault finding / rectification of various Telecom systems including Mobile BTS, Microwave links, UHF radios, Optical based solutions
